What Endolift treats

Endolift is made for mild to moderate laxity of the lower face and neck, where the skin still has the natural elasticity to answer with a beautiful collagen response.

Who is Endolift for?

Most people who ask Regents Park Aesthetics about Endolift describe the same thing. The jawline that used to be sharp has blurred, and a heaviness has gathered around the jowls. The neck, or the area under the chin, looks fuller in photographs than it used to. That is exactly the layer Endolift is designed to reach.

Endolift suits mild to moderate skin laxity on the face and neck. The people who do best are usually between their mid-thirties and mid-sixties and in good general health. They still have enough natural elasticity for the collagen response to take hold. Many also have a small pocket of fat under the chin or along the jaw, and Endolift can reduce that at the same time as it tightens the skin above.

We treat the jawline and jowls, the area under the chin, the neck, the smile lines and the cheeks. Where there is severe laxity or a large amount of excess skin, surgery is the better route, and Dr Mattia talks you through it at the consultation. If your concern is mainly jowls and a sagging jawline or a double chin, those pages set out every option we offer.

What is Endolift?

Endolift is a minimally invasive laser treatment that works from beneath the skin rather than across its surface. Once local anaesthetic has settled the area, Dr Mattia guides a single-use optical fibre under the skin through one tiny entry point. The fibre is finer than a human hair, and it sits below the skin but above the muscle. There are no incisions and no stitches.

It delivers laser energy at 1470 nm into the hypodermis, the layer where the collagen-producing fibroblasts live. That wavelength is absorbed by both water-rich tissue and fat, which is what lets one session do three things at once. Existing collagen contracts, so the skin tightens on the day, and the fibroblasts begin a rebuild that lays down fresh collagen and elastin for months afterwards. Where a small fat pocket sits under the chin or along the jowls, the same energy breaks those cells down and the body clears them through the lymphatic system.

The treatment was developed in Italy by Eufoton, a medical laser maker in Trieste, and has been refined since 1999. It runs on the Eufoton LASEmaR 1500 laser, and the manufacturer reports more than 300,000 Endolift procedures performed worldwide. It is a medical laser procedure, which is why Dr Mattia Parducci performs it himself after a face to face assessment.

One session, a lift that keeps building

The appeal of Endolift is how much it does from so little. One session under local anaesthetic, and one entry point small enough to close without a mark. Most people are back to normal life within hours. Mild pinkness or slight swelling usually settles inside twenty four hours. Strenuous exercise, saunas and steam rooms wait three to five days.

The lift then builds on its own. Tightening shows on the day, from the contraction of the collagen already in your skin. A second wave arrives at four to eight weeks as new collagen production gets going. The result peaks at nine to twelve months, once the remodelling is complete, and typically holds for two to three years. A maintenance session at twelve to eighteen months can build on it further.

It also sits comfortably alongside the rest of your plan. Profhilo improves hydration and elasticity, and polynucleotides support repair in thin or crepey areas. Anti-wrinkle injections soften the movement lines that Endolift does not touch. Dr Mattia Parducci sequences any combination so each treatment has room to work.

Questions patients ask

Frequently asked questions

Endolift is a minimally invasive laser treatment that firms loose skin on the lower face, jawline and neck from beneath the surface. A single-use optical fibre, finer than a human hair, is placed under the skin through one tiny entry point. There are no incisions and no stitches. Only local anaesthetic is needed, and most people have one session lasting thirty to ninety minutes depending on the area.

The energy travels along the fibre and is released directly into the layer where the laxity sits. Heat makes the existing collagen contract on the day. The fibroblasts begin producing fresh collagen and elastin over the months that follow. And where a small fat pocket is present, the 1470 nm wavelength breaks down those fat cells, which the body clears through the lymphatic system.

They are quite different. A surgical facelift cuts, repositions and removes tissue under general anaesthetic, with a recovery measured in weeks. Endolift lifts and firms the skin from underneath through one tiny entry point, under local anaesthetic, and most people are back to normal life within hours. It suits mild to moderate laxity. Where there is severe laxity or a large amount of loose skin, surgery is the better route, and Dr Mattia talks you through it at consultation.

Yes, where a localised pocket is part of the problem. Under the chin or along the jowls, the laser energy breaks down that small deposit while tightening the skin above it. It is designed for small, localised pockets, which is exactly where it shines.

The area is numbed with local anaesthetic before anything else happens, so most people feel mild pressure and warmth rather than pain. The anaesthetic injection itself is usually the most noticeable moment of the appointment. Afterwards there is mild tenderness for a day or two.

Most people return to normal activities within a few hours. Mild pinkness, warmth and slight swelling can be present straight afterwards and usually settle inside twenty four hours. We ask you to avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and steam rooms for three to five days. Make-up can generally go on from the following day.

You notice some tightening straight away, because the laser contracts the collagen already in your skin during the session. A clearer improvement usually shows at four to eight weeks as new collagen production begins. The result peaks at nine to twelve months, once the remodelling is complete.

Results typically last two to three years. Because the treatment builds your own collagen rather than adding a filler, the improvement develops and then holds for a long stretch. A maintenance session at twelve to eighteen months can build on the result further.

Most people achieve what they want in a single session. Where there is more pronounced laxity, or several areas are being treated, a second session is sometimes recommended. Dr Mattia sets out a clear plan for your face at consultation, built around the result you would love.

Yes. Areas are often combined in one appointment, the jawline and neck together for example, or the jawline and the area under the chin. The session simply runs longer, up to about ninety minutes for a full face and neck.

Endolift works beneath the skin rather than on its surface, so it suits most skin tones after a skin check, including deeper skin tones. Dr Mattia confirms your suitability at consultation.

Ultraformer HIFU delivers focused ultrasound from the surface to the deeper supporting layers, with no downtime and a result that builds over three months. Morpheus8 pairs radiofrequency with micro pins to 4mm and treats texture and scarring as well as laxity over a course of three. Endolift places its energy directly under the skin in a single session, so it reaches deeper and gives a stronger structural lift along the jawline and jowls, and it can reduce a small fat pocket at the same time.

Endolift is priced by treatment area, from £1,350 for the area under the chin. The neck is £1,750, the lower face, jawline and jowls £1,950, the full face £2,250, and the full face with the neck £2,750. Every treatment includes the consultation, the procedure and your aftercare advice. Dr Mattia confirms an itemised price once he has agreed the areas with you, and other areas such as smile lines are quoted at consultation.

Dr Mattia Parducci, an aesthetic doctor (GMC 7635663), plans and performs every Endolift at Regents Park Aesthetics himself. Endolift is a medical laser procedure, so he performs every one personally. He also leads the advanced laser work at our sister clinic in Oxford, Cannelle Skin Clinic.
